The Caroline Hestia Pendant

To know Caroline Baudino is to feel known and seen by her. When you watch Caroline’s (aka @shopwithcaroline) stories and posts or listen to her incredible podcast, you cannot help but feel invited, included and welcomed into her life and into her circle. So when Caroline and I decided to collaborate on a pendant, I immediately knew that the best place to start from was with our best selling Hestia. Hestia, was the Greek Goddess of fire, hearth and home. Hestia’s greatest power is serenity inducement: the power to induce potent feelings of serenity in others, allowing her to keep everyone who surrounded her at total ease. Hestia was the one welcoming people into their homes, while guarding and watching over them.  This is what Caroline does for so many of us, she welcomes us into her life, her home, shares her warmth and wisdom with us and somehow finds the time to check in and make sure that everyone is ok. It is one of the many reasons why we love her.  Let's be honest though, we also love her for her style and more importantly, her JEWELS.  Not only did we need to make something that represents the type of woman she is, but it needed to absolutely scream Caroline! We know you’ll be obsessed with how it looks, and we are certain that it will also make you feel powerful, empowered, serene and at peace. The Caroline Hestia pendant truly encapsulates who she is and what she brings to each and every one of us, and what you can bring to everyone that you love.

To start, we used a jaw dropping 8 carat lab grown oval shaped emerald. Just like with all of our Hestia's, this gorgeous stone rests on a thick, buttery bezel pillow, with chubby claws holding the emerald in place. The 14k yellow gold bezel is dotted with pristine, burnish set lab grown diamonds that bring beautiful light and play to the entire piece. This insane pendant was begging for a special bail to hang from, so we created a diamond one of course and made it big enough to slip over almost any chain or charm holder.

As with mined emeralds and gemstones, lab grown emeralds must be treated with extreme care.  Exposure to harsh chemicals or perfumes can change the integrity of the stone. Please make sure to handle with care.
