The Lineage Shell

the lineage line was created to represent a direct line from your past, present, and your future. based off of a vintage earring julie found while treasure hunting, the tubular curved lines make all of the pieces in this line architecturally bold and beautiful. the prominent lines in each piece  stand up a little taller and always end in a dazzling pear shaped diamond.

growing up in california meant direct access to water. whether it was my happy place, lake tahoe or the wonderfully crisp pacific ocean. spending time near awe inspiring bodies of water is part of my history. so many core memories..sights, sounds, smells near the water. the smell of coppertone, my mom’s jewelry lathered with oils and lotions still sparkling in the sun. my siblings and i running down the beach, searching for treasures and shivering as we ran from the waves up to our towels to crisp in the sun.

and then as i became a mother, watching my babies enjoy the beauty and the rhythm of the water. staying on the beach well past sunset, chairs in a circle, dominoes games layed out, cigars lit, champagne bottles corked, crawdad feeds, never ending laughs and gazes into the deep blue.

the sea, or really any body of water you are fortunate enough to spend time near can not only evoke your sweetest  memories, but also serve as a reminder of how vast our world is and how small we are in comparison to the great waters we love to play in.
